Manufacturing Logistics & Freight Solutions
Rad Sourcing provides a range of freight solutions tailored to meet your budget and specifications.
We partner with leading shipping providers such as DHL, FedEx, and UPS for efficient air freight services. Samples are expedited through express shipping with one of these carriers, unless alternative arrangements are preferred by our clients.
For production needs in Asia, we also offer expedited sea freight options. Please note that delivery times vary depending on the destination, with ocean freight naturally requiring more time compared to air freight. To optimize both time and costs, we advise incorporating lead time into your production schedule.
Delivery Duty Paid (DDP)
Our standard practice for production orders is Delivery Duty Paid (DDP), unless alternative arrangements are specifically requested by the client.
What is Delivery Duty Paid?
DDP shipping shifts transportation risks and costs from buyers to sellers until buyers receive their goods, ensuring buyer protection and accountability on the part of the seller.
Benefits of Delivery Duty Paid:
- Buyer Protection: DDP shifts shipping risks and costs to sellers, ensuring customers receive their orders and deterring potential scammers from exploiting the system.
- Safe International Delivery: DDP prompts sellers to meticulously choose secure shipping routes and comply with diverse international laws, safeguarding packages during global transit.
- Secure Sea or Air Freight: DDP agreements hold sellers accountable for safe delivery via air or sea, mitigating risks associated with transporting goods over long distances.
- Seller Responsibility for Fees: DDP alleviates buyers’ concerns about unknown customs fees by requiring sellers to cover international charges, resulting in a smoother purchasing process.”

Express Air Freight VS. Sea Freight: Shipping Lead Times for Production Orders
There are two popular delivery methods to ship you your packaged products: Air Freight & Sea Freight. They are both good options with their Pros & Cons listed below.
Air Freight shipping estimations is 10-14 days.
Pros: Air freight is significantly faster than sea freight, and airlines generally adhere to strict schedules, providing more predictability for delivery times compared to sea freight.
Cons: Air freight is typically more expensive than sea freight, especially for large or heavy shipments. Air freight operations can be delayed by adverse weather conditions. Air freight also generates higher emissions per unit of cargo compared to sea freight, contributing to environmental concerns.
*Your final transit time may differ based on different circumstances such as bad weather, peak period delays and or regulatory clearance requirements. Rad Sourcing has no liability or responsibility for differences between the indicative and the actual transit time.
Sea freight shipping estimation is 30-35 days unless your order is pulled for a random regulatory inspection. However, that does not happen very often.
Pros: Sea freight is a good delivery option for your brand if cost-effectiveness is an important factor. Sea freight also has a lower carbon footprint and is less weather dependent than air freight.
Cons: Sea freight has longer delivery times compared to air freight, and involves more complex documentation and customs procedures. Sea freight may require additional transportation methods based on factory location.
